Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy
Welcome to Armlikes!
At Armlikes (https://armlikes.com), we respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), we provide a structured process for copyright owners or their authorized agents to submit takedown notices for infringing content. As an internet service provider, we adhere to the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA and strive to handle infringement claims efficiently and transparently.
Notice of Copyright Infringement – Filing a Claim
If you believe that copyrighted material is being used on our site without authorization, you may submit a takedown request. Your notice must include the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
- Clear identification of the copyrighted work that has been infringed.
- A detailed description of the infringing material, including its location (URL) on our website.
- Contact information, including your name, address, phone number, and email.
- A statement affirming your good faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.
- A declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Under Title 17 USC §512(f), individuals who knowingly misrepresent a copyright infringement claim may be subject to civil penalties, including legal costs and attorney fees.
Submit DMCA notices through our Contact page. Email submission is recommended for faster processing.
Counter Notification – Requesting Restoration of Material
If you believe that material was mistakenly removed due to a copyright claim, you may submit a counter-notification. Your response must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the removed material and its prior location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury asserting that the removal resulted from error or misidentification.
- Your name, address, phone number, and a declaration consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your location (or any jurisdiction where Armlikes operates if outside the U.S.).
- A commitment to accept service of process from the original complainant.
Counter-notifications should be sent via our Contact page. Email is preferred for quicker resolution.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Armslikes strictly enforces copyright protection. We maintain a record of DMCA notices and actively track repeat infringers. Users who violate our policy multiple times will have their accounts permanently terminated in accordance with the DMCA’s repeat infringer provisions.
